Ted's Hardware in Sebeka was constructed in 1945 by the Sebeka Co-op Association. Its poured concrete, brick and mortar, construction have yielded different businesses throughout the years.
On the west side, a laundromat, rec center, auto garage, and farm equipment shop. Currently it was bought by Olson Custom Farm Services for vehicle storage. The middle building was reconditioned into Ernie's Market in 1975. The upstairs housed a clothing store from 1980 - 1983.
Ted's Hardware, the East Building, was purchased in 1979. It features a large mural designed by Marilyn Lindstrom from 1998 to 2001, and the Sebeka City Center near the East parking lot. Ted's Hardware has gone through a few remodels over the years, but still bears the solid construction of 1945.
Ted's Hardware in Menahga was originally built in 1961 for the Patson Bait Company. The Patson Bait Company was popular for many years to due to the close vicinity of lakes in the area and the avid fishermen of Menahga.
In 1975, Rodney Lake reopened the building as a hardware store. Mike Foss bought the store in 1983 and ran it until 1989 as Mike's Hardware. It was purchased in 1989 to become Ted's Hardware.
